Quilt Back Quilt Front
The BIG Shirt with Shirley Mandler- The easy and relaxed fit of this shirt makes it a favorite to wear. The shirt is loose fitting, has a button front closure, dropped shoulders and a tunic length straight or shirttail hem. Made out of one fabric or pieced from a variety of fabrics, you will have fun making this shirt and will want more than one. Wear it as a shirt made out of cottons or a jacket made out of cozy flannel.
Will be taught at Maryland Sew N Vac in Clinton Maryland three 2-hour classes, April 8, 15, 22 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. $40
Taught at my house in Prince Frederick - two 3-hour classes, March 24, 31 10:00 am -1pm. $30.00

Cabin
Dance Jacket, pattern by Quilted Closet. Model jacket was done
in cotton. But it would look and feel good in flannels. Taught
at Maryland Sew N Vac this
spring. Look for their mailer in April.
The below classes will be taught at the It Seams Sew Sewing Academy in Prince Frederick, MD. my house in the classroom. Get 3 students together and we can schedule a date/time/place convenient to you. Just email me at shirley@itseamssew.com No more than 5 students per class so that everyone has plenty of room to work.
Christmas
Tree Skirt - you really get two tree skirts out of the pattern.
The tree skirts will be reversed in color. Make one for yourself, give the
other to a friend. (One 4 hour class - $30 per person. If taught at
another location of your choice class fee is $45.00)
Cozy Coat - Made out of flannels, this coat is very warm to wear on cold fall days. The book is from the Cozy Coat pattern by Thimbleberries. The pattern also gives you the option of doing floral appliqués down the front where I have the "Crazy" patchwork. (Three 2-hour classes - $35/per person. If taught at another location of your choice class fee is $45.00)
