Bringing you embroidery seminars throughout the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area

In association with Thousand Word Images -  Bringing you the best and most complete PC and digital photography  seminars in the Baltimore/D.C. area

In 1998,  I purchased my first embroidery machine, the Deco 600, and the Wizard software. After several months of frustration trying to learn how to do the simplest of things with the software, I stumbled across a seminar being held in Indiana. I signed up immediately.

I can't tell you how much I learned in those 3 days. I came home and told everyone how much I learned, how many people I met and how much fun I had. Everyone I talked to said they wished they had something like that in this area. Before I knew it, I was planning my first and the area's first digitizing seminar. The first seminar was just for the BBDers (Brother, Babylock, Deco). Now as more companies are enhancing their digitizing software and there are more products to choose from, I am constantly expanding the software instructions offered.

My seminars feature logical, progressive learning; meaning you go through the digitizing steps in a logical sequence. Most of the time you will have the same instructor through the seminar. I am also strict about prerequisite skills needed to attend the various seminars.  I have attended seminars where there are numerous instructors each teaching a specialized topic for a couple of hours. At these seminars you have your choice of which topics you want to hear. When I did this, I had all these bits and pieces of information, but nothing to tie it together. I like to provide the attendees with the ability to apply all that they have learned.  There have been other seminars where the coordinator has let in attendees with different levels of proficiency.  As a result, you have some attendees totally frustrated because they are "lost",  and you have others that are totally bored and feel the seminar was a waste of money.  I try to eliminate both of these scenarios by having everyone at the same level.

I hope to see you at one of my future seminars.
